My love of flowers began when I sat through a high school assembly about a career technical school. The Horticulture/Bio-Science instructor caught my youthful 15-year-old attention. The teacher was engaging and captivating, with a passion for flowers. Little did I know that she would teach me who I was to blossom into while falling in love with design.

What started as a co-op job at a local family-owned greenhouse turned into a remarkable 10-year career. While employed at the greenhouse (age 18), I grew my knowledge of floral design and flower care and began my home floral business for pleasure. This was back in 2001, and over 20 years later, I love designing as much as the first time I was encouraged to create something of my own.
